We are going to learn and practice more about job interviews.

First step, listen to this presentation and answer the following questions. 

1.       What are the names of the two presenters?
     The two presenters names are Jeff and Mike, separately.

2.       How many things did they mention in the first tip? What are they?
     Three things they mention in the first tip:
     1) What they do
     2) Who their competitors are
     3) Any current events related to the company

3.       What does it mean “inside and out”? Use this same expression in a sentence of your own.
     "inside and out" means totally.

4.       What is a success story from the presenter’s point of view? Plan one to share with your classmates.
     The "success story" means your highlight achievement and reflects what your strength.
     My success story: I focused on detail, and have strong ability to follow and improve Standard Operating Procedures. For past 10 years, I have strictly followed SOPs during routine tests, and have found some where could be better, then have given advice to supervisor. For example, during I worked as quality assurance technician in Shanghai Hongbei Coating Company, I have developed the potentiometric titration method to improve an out of date epoxy content test on paint products. This method greatly improved the accuracy of testing to ensure the products quality consistently at high level.

5.       Why do you need to plan some questions to ask the employer?
     Preparation some questions to ask the employer to show that you are prepared knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the job. 

6.       Find a synonym for the word “tailor” in this presentation.
     Adjusted

7.       What did he mean by “what is the position calls for” and “position yourself”? Plan and give related examples.
     "What is the position calls for" is means that what candidate are company look for.
     "position yourself" means to customize.
     Example: if the company require candidate can work under high pressure, I will use a example to show how I work under high stress and improved myself. I will say, "Actually, for past ten years, I have been working in high pressure environment. The pressure can push me up, and let me improve more quickly. For example, before I training and internship in TIPT, my English written level just 4 at Linc test and I have never written SOPs, protocols or reports in English. After one year hard work in high pressure environment, I improved myself very fast, now I can write good technical documents in English and my English written level up to 7."

8.       What was the presenter’s advice at he end of his clip?
     They have prepared free special report and huge interview questions and completely answers, just from click the button to obtain.

9.       Share any addition tip(s) that you have learnt from this presentation. 
     Positive, Honest, self-confidence

Second, listen to this presentation and answer the following questions.

1.       What is the purpose of this presentation?
     To teach us how to answer interview question "why should we hire you?"

2.       Why was the first answer he presented was bad? What does it mean by saying “generic”? Give different examples.
     Because the first answer is generic, it's means every people can answer like this.

3.       List the tips this presenter has offered.
     Read the job position 
     Use FAB to answer questions


4.       Now, moving on to the practical part. Think of your best fixed qualities. What are the features, advantage(s), and benefits from them to any prospect employer? Follow the same pattern as in the presentation. Prepare and practice your answers to share with your peers.
